Sabr Shukr – Terms & Conditions
Sabr Shukr (or “SABR SHUKR”) is a product of Vidya Jeevan (“Vidya Jeevan”, “Vidyajeevan”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, Vidya Jeevan Centre facilities, and all related content, programs, tests, and features (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase subscriptions. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review these Terms and supervise your use.
Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Licence & Permitted Use
Subject to payment and compliance, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access subscribed content during your plan term.
All content (videos, text, images, MCQs, software) is owned by Vidya Jeevan and/or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. No ownership is transferred to you.
Prohibited Activities
- Copying, recording, mirroring, reselling, or distributing content
- Creating derivative works or scraping/data-mining the Services
- Sharing accounts or allowing unauthorised simultaneous logins
- Bypassing DRM or technical controls
- Uploading malicious code or interfering with systems
- Cheating, manipulating ranks, or using unauthorised aids
We may use proctoring tools, IP/device checks, timestamps, and anomaly detection to maintain academic integrity.
Vidyajeevan Centre Rules
- Follow staff instructions and posted rules
- No installation of software or unauthorised peripherals
- Carry a valid photo ID for entry
- CCTV is active in common areas for security
- Silent study etiquette must be maintained
Damage to property or system tampering may result in penalties, recovery of costs, and termination of Services.
Plans, Payments & Refunds
Access begins on activation and continues for the stated term. Features vary by plan as described at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated. Duplicate payments or verified payment failures will be refunded.
Promotional offers are subject to specific terms, cannot be combined, and may be withdrawn at any time.
Third-Party Services
Certain features rely on third-party services such as payment gateways, analytics, or communication platforms. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee academic results, ranks, admissions, or outcomes. Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidya Jeevan shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vidya Jeevan, its officers, employees, and partners from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or unlawful activity. Upon termination, your access ceases, but certain clauses survive, including IP, liability limits, and governing law.
Modifications
We may update features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: Laws of India.
Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably via the Grievance Officer within 30 days. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Seat & venue: New Delhi. Language: English. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for interim relief.
